Where's Momo?, Rain Boots & Goodbye Ms Erin

This morning we dove into a book




we discussed what to wear in the rain on our feet


we recycled some bags and made our own rain shoes



we checked to see if they were really water proof




we read Where's MOMO and worked on our positional awareness and phrases


we painted our corn-hole board for the carnival on Thursday






we made our own books


we designed and built a robot









some of us met next years guidance counselor from California Ave school, Ms Garrett
others went on a nature walk





today was Ms Erin's last day.  She has been helping us in class every Monday


We will miss you Ms Erin

Beans Sprouting, Centers in Room #103 & Andrew's Birthday

This morning we noticed that our beans were beginning to sprout from our zip lock bags we received some brand new cabinets in our classroom we took a trip to Ms Fechtman's room and our morning centers there Ms Fechtmann came to our classroom and her students used our room for morning centers this was very exciting for each class as the children were able to see and use materials from different rooms Mr. Yack was able to get many ideas for centers... In the afternoon we read our mini books Andrew and his mother gave the class a presentation on their adventures last summer we learned all about snakes, and elephants and rhino serous  we had a little birthday feast Playground time !
