Uniondale Pre-Kindergarten 835 DeMott Avenue Mrs. Elaine DeBono Baldwin, NY 11510 Principal 516-405-8300 edebono@uniondaleschools.org August 2017 Dear Pre-K Families, Welcome to Uniondale’s Pre-Kindergarten Program!  We are very excited to begin the year.  A few important things to know before we start: ** Date Change** All parents/guardians and students are invited to attend the Back-To-School Orientation on Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 6 -7 pm .  During Orientation you will have the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and the principal of the school, learn about the Pre-K Program, bring in donation supplies and sign up for Pre-K Screening dates. Pre-K Screening will be conducted on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, September 6 th , 7 th & 8 th .  All children attending the program will be screened by their teacher in the afternoon, from 12 – 2:30pm.  You will be asked to sign-up for a 20 minute ...

Crazy Pizza Day, All About Me Posters & Friend Pictures

I'm starting to see some  "All About Me"  posters coming in the boys help hand out the breakfast in the mornings Sara received her get well cards we drew pictures of fun things we like to do with friends The children chose the book "Crazy Pizza Day"... we finished our crazy pizza craft today..we even used some coffee grinds for texture Joel reading with Ms Cunningham we have photo albums of previous classes to view we cut some thread we used timers we put together our letter home and tied them craft time Ms Arias reads a book...the kids love her read alouds puzzle time our crazy pizza some journal writing... the art rack was busy today... good night all..
