Nature Walks, Counting Trees & Size Comparison

we began the day with a discussion about trees we see every day...bigger and smaller oines

we put our thoughts to paper

Anthony enjoys following the flow of the day

we went outside for a nature walk and looked for different trees

we noticed some leaves were changing colors

we collected so many leaves...

we checked out a squirrels nest

this is where Mr. Cory checks the oil delivery

this tree needed a tree dr.

we checked out the bark

we found strange acorns

we collected branches too

some bark

we checked on our beans/seeds

we found our letters

we painted some "branches"

we use our transition board

we show perserverence

we build...taller and smaller

we examine

we watched a video about trees

we read about trees and we counted

we build, count and compare

we investigate

we create

always examining

we write our letters

we clean up..

we take home books....
