Our First Day !!!

We had a fun first day of school.  We spent time learning our new routines and classroom procedures.

Our day began with some pictures.
We will use these pictures to help us understand where to put our coats and bags
















We had our morning circle where we played games and listened to music
After hand washing, we ate our breakfast together



when we were done...we cleaned up our tables

we explored all the dinosaurs 





we were very curious as to what the other classes where doing









we used some chalk to write and draw



When we returned to the room we took a tour of the classroom and discussed what was in our interest centers


we all had an opportunity to use whatever we wanted







Before we went home I read the books A Pocket for Corduroy 

Please ask your child what they remember from the story
We are all getting to know each other and make new friends
I am already seeing your children display care and empathy
I'm so pleased to be their teacher

    Thank you for making Anthony's first school experience such an amazing one. I am grateful knowing that he has a teacher as caring and dedicated as you.

Beans Sprouting, Centers in Room #103 & Andrew's Birthday

This morning we noticed that our beans were beginning to sprout from our zip lock bags we received some brand new cabinets in our classroom we took a trip to Ms Fechtman's room and our morning centers there Ms Fechtmann came to our classroom and her students used our room for morning centers this was very exciting for each class as the children were able to see and use materials from different rooms Mr. Yack was able to get many ideas for centers... In the afternoon we read our mini books Andrew and his mother gave the class a presentation on their adventures last summer we learned all about snakes, and elephants and rhino serous  we had a little birthday feast Playground time !
