Uniondale Pre-K 2017/18

In the morning we read we use clothes pins for counting support we worked on some murals  Ms Makey was at science working on matching Antony's Birthday was today...so we celebrated with some special centers we had some play doh Anthony's grandma helped with an art center we had a stand mixer today Ms Makey had a juicer... we made apple juice Mr Yack made 2 trips to the Book Fairies today... Everyone is getting a new book for the holidays... Night all

Today we made room for our new blocks... we learned about saws  we were all able to examine and touch one I modeled how to saw a tree some morning reading we discussed instruments that are made of wood we read about tress and discussed what life would be like without trees we went oustide we examined a water logged branch we had some center time we sawed a branch goggles for protection we examined the saw dust we wanted to plant apple seeds... we were surprised to see our apples had no seeds great shape building letter Nn this week more nature art wow Anderson put these all away correctly... more shapes... examining bugs...rubber ones have a great night all...
